Jump Start
What you need to know!
Pick up a Phase Guide!
Every time you discover something that works in your parenting--SURPRISE!-- your kids change, and you have to learn a few new techniques. That’s why we love the PHASE Guides. It simplifies what you’ll need to know about the next year of your child’s life.
Each guide will help you understand how your child will change over the next year and will give you simple ways you can give them the things they need most. You’ll also find helpful tips on how to initiate critical conversations that help you influence your child’s habits as they grow in each phase.
Phase guides are available, throughout September, at the UpStreet Guest Services Desk while supplies last.
Verse of the Month Stickers
We created these Verse of the Month water bottle stickers as a fun, engaging way your child can keep God’s wisdom in front of them all year long. We designed them for water bottles, but your kids can put them anywhere: a school notebook, a device case or even the bathroom mirror. But it’s important they put it somewhere they will see it often. You could even get your whole family in on the action and encourage everyone to memorize the verse together.
By the beginning of next school year, your child can have 12 verses memorized that they will carry with them everywhere they go.
Join us for Jump Start
When it comes to talking to your child about God and who Jesus is, we know you want to get it right. And we’d love to help!
Jump Start is a 20-minute presentation where parents and kids learn what it means to begin a personal relationship with Jesus.
Our next Jump Start will take place on September 25, following the 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. services.
