Transit

An environment designed with middle school students in mind

Helping students discover a faith of their own

Middle School can be hard, but you don't have to navigate it alone.

We miss seeing you, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on Transit!

We are providing an online Transit experience for you each Sunday morning.

There will be a video message available on this page each week for you to view at your regular Transit service time.

After that, you’ll be able to join a “virtual small group room” to discuss the content with your regular small group. The links to those small group rooms will be emailed to parents from your small group leader.

PRAYER

This week, we’re continuing our online series on prayer.

Focusing on the needs of the day and praying like Jesus can change our hearts. This makes our daily reliance on him a reminder of his grace toward us.

Prayer always changes our hearts and might change our circumstances.

“Give us today our daily bread.”
Matthew 6:11

HOW WE SHOULD PRAY

Jesus radically changed the expectations of waht prayer life could do and what it could look like in our daily lives. Prayer is our open line of communication with the Creator of the universe.

"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.' "
Matthew 6:9-10

What can I do to make the most of the resources Transit has available for my Middle School student?

1. Join our parent group on Facebook to stay up-to-date on all things Transit!

2. Fill out a consent form!
In order for your student to participate in these virtual small groups and to receive the daily text devotional from Transit, you’ll need to fill out a consent form to ensure we are in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you receive updates from us, you should have received an email with a link to your church’s form. If you haven’t yet completed that form, you can also access it by clicking below.

How do I help my student is struggling with mental health issue during this season?

If you are concerned that your student may do something to harm themselves, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline - 1-800-273-8255.

We have compiled some helpful videos and resources for parents and students on mental health.
