The entire InsideOut family is packing up and going to Daytona Beach this summer! Everyone will be there—all four grades at all of our churches! At this five-day beach retreat, students will be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to live out their faith in practical ways. Sessions include engaging worship and communicators who set students up for powerful conversations in their small groups. When you add in the pool and the beach, this camp is hard to beat! Lunch and dinner in Daytona Beach and lunch on travel days, transportation, beachfront lodging, production costs, an event T-shirt, and bottled water for the entire week.
Where will my student be staying?
Hotel rooms with their small group at either
Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort 100 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118
The Plaza Resort and Spa 600 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, FL 32118
How will my student get to Daytona Beach?
Our students and small group leaders will travel on charter busses.
Is it safe?
We take our students’ safety very seriously. Your student will be with their leaders and friends, dozens of staff members will be on hand, and a security team will be on-site the entire time. We also contract local police to ensure your student’s safety. We have reserved the entire hotel, so we’ll be the only group on the property.
What's the dress code?
Tops must have straps and be full-length. Shorts and dresses should be an appropriate length. Students must be fully clothed at meals and sessions (tops, bottoms, and shoes).
Bathing suits must be full-coverage, one-piece for girls and full-length, loose-fitting swim trunks for guys. Here is a guide to help you in your swimsuit search!
Will there be a medical professional at camp?
Yes. We’ll have registered nurses at camp at all times.
What if my student has a food allergy?
Please indicate any allergies in your student’s registration. We’ll do our best to accommodate your student’s food allergies for lunch and dinner. There will be snacks and additional food available for purchase at the hotel. Each room has a mini refrigerator to store food if needed.
What if my student doesn't know other students?
Then InsideOut Daytona is the perfect place to be! This event is designed to help students form meaningful relationships in their small groups.
Why is this year's event later in July than usual?
Unfortunately, the week we would normally host InsideOut Daytona was previously booked by another group. We recognize the dates are less than ideal since they’ll conflict with more sports camps and other activities than normal. We have secured an earlier week for 2023 (July 17–21, 2023).
How do I cancel my student's registration?
Cancellations must be sent in writing via email to Carrie Kaufmann (firstname.lastname@example.org). Cancellations made before July 11 will receive a 100 percent refund. Cancellations made on or after July 12 will receive no refund of any kind.
