Transit's Double Dog Dare-a-Thon

Double Dog Dare-a-Thon is a fun event for our middle schoolers this spring! We want to provide students with a fun opportunity to invite a friend* to join them at Transit

How It Works: Students can either invite a friend over (maybe to spend the night at his or her house on Saturday night (with parent permission, of course) or simply invite them to join in on Sunday morning.

Saturday, April 18:  Teams will preregister along with their small groups. At 7:00 p.m., they will receive dare instructions with example videos. After completing each challenge, teams will document their work with a photo and text it back to our judges for evaluation. Once the photo of a dare is received, teams will get a follow-up text with instructions for the next dare, and this continues until they complete the list of dares.

Sunday, April 19: At Transit the following morning (during your student’s regular service hour), the winners of each dare will be announced, celebrated, and receive a prize. There will also be other fun games and raffles. Every student has a chance to win!

Whether your student joins in on Saturday or Sunday or both, Double Dog Dare will be an unforgettable weekend!

*Parents, this is the perfect opportunity for you and your student to start having conversations about who in their lives they would like to begin sharing their faith with.
