Middle school was awkward, strange, and uncomfortable for all of us. Despite the cringe reflex when we think back to that season, we would all agree that those years were influential. Therefore, we're going to challenge our students to view this part of their journeys as an opportunity to define who they are as opposed to a phase they need to survive. There is no more important part of their identities to nail down than their personal relationship with Jesus. This is not wasted time between childhood and young adulthood; rather, it is an important journey of discovering who they are in Christ.
