Transit

6th–8th Grades

Ever been in the middle of a bustling train station during rush hour? Middle school students often feel that way—even when they’re alone! It can be a confusing and exciting time. Transit is a Sunday morning worship environment specially tailored to help them sort it all out. With a dynamic worship experience—complete with a live band, inspirational speakers, heartfelt small group discussions, and fun games—students explore their relationship with Jesus and how that can influence every decision they make.

Transit meets in the Attic during the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services.

Programming for children with special needs is available during the 9:00 service. For more information, please contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Double Dog Dare-a-thon

Woodstock City Church

During the weekend of April 29–30, Transit will host the most epic dare contest of the year. Students will invite a friend over on Saturday night and perform a series of wacky, awkward, and challenging dares. Then they’ll send in photos and join us on Sunday to find out who won. There will be plenty of silliness, possibly a pillow fight, and, of course, prizes. DDD is guaranteed to have your whole family joining in the fun and will allow your student to invest in and invite a friend to Transit.

Transit Test Drive

The Attic

9:00 a.m. • 11:00 a.m.

If you’re the parent of a current fifth grader, mark your calendar for Sunday, May 21.  Soon your student will be heading to Transit. We want to put your worries to rest and make the transition as easy as possible at Transit Test Drive. Drop your student off in UpStreet like usual and head to the Attic by the main entrance of the building. You will spend the entire service hour with us. The fifth graders will join us as well, but shhhh . . . it’s a surprise for them!
