Intersect makes serving in the community simple for attendees of Woodstock City Church. We aim to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through serving others. To serve, we move beyond our building into the community to care for our neighbors in need. The Intersect Team plans strategic events and campaigns that mobilize our attendees to serve with great nonprofit partners.
Anyone! We’d love to help you take a first step toward serving, whether you’re serving with your small group, your family, or individually.
To connect people to service opportunities, Woodstock City Church has formed ongoing relationships with nonprofits around our community. Let us introduce you to them:
Goshen Valley Boys Ranch (GVBR) is a nonprofit home serving young men ages 11-21 in Georgia's foster care system through a transitional living program. GVBR seeks to end the cycle of abuse and neglect and provide healing for their clients as they assist them in finding long-term life plans through reunification with families, adoption, secondary education, employment, and/or transition into the community.
MUST Ministries Cherokee serves those in need in our community with its food pantry, clothing closet, financial assistance, translation assistance, housing, and seasonal programming. Clients can also participate in a variety of courses in the classroom and the computer lab, both staffed by volunteers.
